PRF has been been playing music in Portland for a long time. They have come up from the drudges of basements and house shows, where they have united fans and encouraged us to think punk! They live their life like there is no tomorrow and they play their music as if they were on their way to hell. With songs like “I don’t need your God” and “Damaged Brain Society” they are not only playing hardcore punk, they are also living it. Raised in Portland, Wolfgang, Seve, Andre, Mike and Aidan define what it is to be Northwest punk. Wolfgang is so high energy and in your face during shows, you can’t even tell where he is half the time, thrashing his way through the crowd, forcing you to move. Seve is definitely one of the most bad ass punk drummers playing music right now. He doesn’t just keep perfect time and slam out a punk beat, he puts in fills where they are least expected and never fails to surprise the listeners. The strings (Mike, Aidan and Andre) play fast and hard with quick and complicated changes. There is no reason for you not to be interested in this band, and if you are any part of the hardcore scene in Portland, you probably already are.
